Cameron Police Department BB@ Shootout
This year's Cameron PD BBQ cook-off and "Party in the Park" will be held at Ledbetter Park on April 29 & 30, 2016.  There will be free live music on Saturday as well as kid fishing at 9:00 AM, arts and crafts, bounce houses, washers tourney, food and games.

This year there is also a "Beer & Brat Tot" 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 30th with Thorndale Sausage and Lone Star Beer at the finish line (Soda and hot dogs for those under 21 runners and walkers).
Warehouse of Horrors
The First Street Warehouse of Horrors is an annual Halloween fundraising event for Milam County Crime Stoppers. The Warehouse of Horrors has won various accolades and is listed as one of the top haunted house attractions in Texas.

Christmas Parade
The Cameron Christmas Parade is held every December. The Parade route winds around downtown Cameron, so every street corner becomes a prime viewing spot. Participants include numerous clubs, churches, businesses, and marching bands from the surrounding area.

Cameron Chamber of Commerce Christmas Classic
Every year in December, the Cameron Chamber of Commerce hosts a high school basketball tournament called the Christmas Classic. Many teams from central Texas are invited to compete. The event offers players a chance to develop their skills, and provides an economic boost to the community.

Milam County 4-H
The 4-H program is very active in Milam County. Cameron youth participate in 4-H activities year round. Every March, the Milam County 4-H hosts the Junior Livestock Show at the Youth Exposition Building.
