Nature Festival - "Learn all about Nature,Wildlife and Conservation at the annual Milam County Nature Festival on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Fair Park in Rockdale. Many educational activities covering birds, bats, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, raptors, snakes, frogs, horned lizards, spiders, native grasses, wildflowers, wildscapes and more, including lots of fun activities for "kids" of all ages. Dewberry Festival - The Dewberry Festival in Cameron is a great event that is fun for the whole family. The 17th annual event will be held May 17-18 in Ledbetter Park. Each year, the Dewberry Festival features a wide variety of activities such as a BBQ Cook-off, live music, arts and crafts, lots of dewberry cobbler and ice cream, a horseshoe tournament, a classic car show, and even a youth fishing tournament.
Cameron Arts & Crafts Fair - The Cameron Arts and Crafts Fair is an annual arts and crafts show held on the first Saturday of October. This large outdoor event is the premier showcase for all artists, hobbyists, and craft producers in the area. The Arts and Crafts Fair can bring anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 visitors to Cameron.
Warehouse of Horrors - The First Street Warehouse of Horrors is an annual Halloween fundraising event for Milam County Crime Stoppers. The Warehouse of Horrors has won various accolades and is listed as one of the top haunted house attractions in Texas.
Christmas Parade - The Cameron Christmas Parade is held every December. The Parade route winds around downtown Cameron, so every street corner becomes a prime viewing spot. Participants include numerous clubs, churches, businesses, and marching bands from the surrounding area.
Cameron Chamber of Commerce Christmas Classic - Every year in December, the Cameron Chamber of Commerce hosts a high school basketball tournament called the Christmas Classic. Many teams from central Texas are invited to compete. The event offers players a chance to develop their skills, and provides an economic boost to the community.
Milam County 4-H - The 4-H program is very active in Milam County. Cameron youth participate in 4-H activities year round. Every March, the Milam County 4-H hosts the Junior Livestock Show at the Youth Exposition Building.
