Orchard Park offers a lighted asphalt surface trail for walking/jogging that is ADA compliant with measured distances listed below. The pond was created to assist with drainage issues and picnic tables, grills and benches offering citizens a great place to spend with family. The park is dominated by beautiful pecan trees, some that are over 70 years old.

A new addition to Orchard Park is the "Mayor's Mansion" erected on March 12, 2010. This 26 apartment 3 story purple martin house. The Mayor's Mansion is set to house purple martins, a bird species that migrate from Brazil to North America and Canada. Purple martins are colony dwellers, which means they live as a group in one dwelling or house with many nest compartments. While traveling north in the spring they establish new colonies and also return to old housing to breed, raise their young and eventually migrate back to Brazil for the winter season.
