July 4th Celebration
The 4th of July Celebration in Cameron, Texas, takes place every other year, alternating years with Rockdale. The event features community activities and a fireworks display, offering a fun and family-friendly way to celebrate Independence Day with local entertainment and a memorable evening. Warehouse of HorrorsThe First Street Warehouse of Horrors is an annual Halloween fundraising event for Milam County Crime Stoppers. The Warehouse of Horrors has won various accolades and is listed as one of the top haunted house attractions in Texas.
Christmas ParadeThe Cameron Christmas Parade is held every December. The Parade route winds around downtown Cameron, so every street corner becomes a prime viewing spot. Participants include numerous clubs, churches, businesses, and marching bands from the surrounding area. Get your photo taken with Santa at the Old Town Cameron Train Museum.
Milam County 4-HThe 4-H program is very active in Milam County. Cameron youth participate in 4-H activities year round. Every March, the Milam County 4-H hosts the Junior Livestock Show at the Youth Exposition Building.
