Position: Police Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls
- Conduct traffic enforcement and accident investigations
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation
- Engage with the community to build trust and partnerships
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must meet Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements
- Current TCOLE Peace Officer License (Required)
- Valid Texas driver’s license & proof of insurance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends
- Pass background investigation, psychological evaluation, and drug
screening

When trouble arises and you are unable to speak, you can now text 911 with your emergency and help will be on the way. Just send your text in a normal fashion and include as much information as possible. Dispatch will then respond to your text and send help immediately.
